Shopify Developer

Napollo Software Design is currently recruiting Shopify Developers to work on-site at our Lahore, Bahria office. The person should be energetic and self-motivated who is passionate about web development and has a good eye for aesthetics and minimalist design sense. The candidate should have a strong understanding of e-commerce industry trends and top customer management systems with sound knowledge of theme customizations for Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace & similar solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Taking full responsibility for the project from conception to finished product
• Rest API Integrations in Shopify
• Research, customize/develop, and implement third-party add-ons, plugins, and other integrations
• Strong application development background and understanding of Web Application technologies and techniques in Shopify
• Javascript knowledge and experience – particularly the use of JS on e-commerce websites and/or platforms.
• Generate custom Shopify themes, and enhance existing templates
• Ensure your new custom development work properly in all environments while overcoming conflicts with popular themes and plugins

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience with Shopify’s object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields
• Responsible for the development of the Shopify Plus platform, themes, liquid programming language, and corresponding apps
• Proven work experience.
• Create and edit custom Shopify themes that are scalable and maintainable
• Demonstrated ability to execute development with minimal oversight, ability to take ownership of projects Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect
• Expert HTML & CSS3 knowledge
• Designing Mobile Responsiveness Sites
• Expert Liquid Markup Language for Shopify
• Expert API Integrations in Shopify
• Design Aesthetics
• Moderate UX / UI Knowledge
• Self-learning

Good-to-have Skills:

• Good Command of English communication
• Good Command over PHP Language
• Strong organizational and project management skills

Education:

• Associates degree in computer sciences or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in core development areas
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
