React Native Developer

Overview:

Napollo Software Design is currently looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms. You will architect and build these applications, as well as coordinate with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required

Core Responsibilities:

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native
• Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native
• Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores
• Work with native modules when required
• Assist with building estimates. Skills
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
• Rock-solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience with automated testing suites

Must-Have Skills:

• Excellent coding skills
• Extensive knowledge of agile methodologies
• Knowledge of React JS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Hooks, and Android/iOS build systems
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and of developing web services
• Ability to take extreme ownership over your work
•   Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications
• Designing the application according to specifications

Good-to-have Skills:

• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle

• Good Command in English communication
• Strong organizational and project management skills

Education:

• Associates degree in computer sciences or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in core development areas
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
